Back to School ZooCamp at the Living Desert: This fun-filled, education camp runs August 6-7, 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Campers will learn about the animals and their habitats, and will experience exciting behind-the-scene tours and animal encounters. The camp is $100 for nonmembers and $80 for members.
Beat the Heat at Wet ’n’ Wild Palm Springs: Sneak in another trip to the desert’s most exciting oasis before school starts. Save big when you purchase the Family 4 Pack online, which includes 4 admission tickets and lunch!
Learn and play at the Palm Springs Air Museum: From August 8th through the 12th, kids can test their flying skills in the Wright Brothers Challenge Simulator Fly-Off. The event lasts from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Your little ones will also enjoy the Tuskegee Airman Children’s Discovery Series on August 10 from 1:30-2:15 p.m. Children will learn from an instructor and receive an activity booklet. Then from August 13th through the 21st, kids can compete for a prize by searching for Kilroy’s six hiding places in the museum on the Looking for Kilroy Scavenger Hunt, from 11 a.m - 4 p.m. All activities are included with museum admission.
