For productions utilizing outside production vendors please check with your Event Manager for pricing on production power, these charges are already incorporated into rates quoted by Swank.

The Swank Audio Visuals team of professionals works as an extension of the PSCC to ensure a seamless and successful experience for your organization and attendees. Should you choose to bring in your own audio visual company or equipment, Swank Audio Visuals must provide an Audio Visual Liaison to supervise the load in, set up, tear down and load-out phases of the event. The liaison will be the main contact for your audio visual supplier, and will interface with both the audio visual company and the facility to ensure safety and good communication between all parties in order to deliver a successful event. These services may be paid for in one of two ways.

Option 1: A technical maintenance fee of 20% of the total value of audio visual equipment and services based on the Authorized Users equipment used on site and priced at the published rates of Swank Audio Visuals. Under option 1, the authorized user shall also be entitled to a 10% discount on any last minute rentals of on site equipment owned by Swank Audio Visuals.

Option 2: The Authorized User may pay for the Audio Visual Liaison at a daily rate of $750.00. Daily rate consists of a 10 hour call for the Swank Liaison between the hours of 7AM & 12 midnight. Call times prior to 7AM and/or after 12 midnight are charged at double time rates. The discount on last minute requests is not available under Option 2. The choice of payment option is at the discretion of the Authorized User and must be decided and communicated to PSCC no less than (30) days prior to the first contracted event day. Should Swank Audio Visuals be utilized in a substantial support role to an outside vendor, consideration will be given to waiving or reducing this charge.

Rigging: The official in house audio visual company, Swank Audio Visuals, is the only company permitted to rig in the facility. Should the Authorized User elect to utilize its own audio visual company or equipment, a rigging/lighting/decor plot plan must be submitted to your Event Manager a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the start of the event. Once the plot has been reviewed, rigging fees and hang points will be established and communicated to you as the client. A minimum of one lead house rigger is required for each room where rigging is necessary.

General rigging rules are as follows;

  1. The onsite audio visual company will determine the exact rigging needs based on individual room set up and equipment being furnished. Rigger requirements will then be adjusted based upon this information.
    1-7 hang points requires (1) rigger in and (1) rigger out

  2. Should an outside production company utilize its own motors, maintenance records and certificates must be provided prior to installation of said equipment. If documentation cannot be provided, alternate certified motors, provided by the in house audio visual company must be utilized. Additional charges will apply.
  3. Rigging policies extend to all steel, grid, hang points, uni-strut tracks, airwall tracks and any points that are created from the ceiling.
  4. Load, per point suspended from structural steel, is limited to 750 pounds in the Oasis Exhibit Hall.
  5. Cables or cords are NOT permitted to be run under any doorways. Per Fire Marshal code, all cables and cords must be run above doors or through the ceiling. Any and all additional costs associated with this are the responsibility of the Authorized User.
  6. House Sound Patch Fees: All rooms that have existing house sound that are utilized by outside audio visual companies will be charged a $100.00 per day, per room patch fee. Rooms that exceed 500 attendees should have reinforced sound, as house sound is not sufficient for such use. In the event Authorized User elects not to install an external sound system, PSCC and the in house audio visual provider are not responsible for any sound issues that may occur in rooms that exceed the capabilities of the house sound system.
