Almost everyone knows that Lulu California Bistro serves the best breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners in the Coachella Valley just by the number of awards they’ve received over the past eight years, but not everyone may realize that this landmark Palm Springs restaurant houses one of the most eclectic collections of artwork found in any dining establishment here.

This business replaces the Japanese restaurant Gyoro-Gyoro and is owned locally by the Zavala family, who also owns the L’Olivo Palm Springs restaurant. Antigua will host entertainment, dancing and weekend brunches, among other experience. The menu will include a variety of dishes including steak, seafood, pasta and pizza. Open daily 11am – 11pm.

At quite a bit more than first glance, there's nothing about Tristan Gittens' curriculum vitae that would suggest he'd someday open a gourmet sausage restaurant. Gittens grew up in Palm Springs but moved away to attend UC Berkeley where he studied pre-med and worked on various HIV/AIDS studies after graduation. He then attended Stanford University, earned a masters in epidemiology, and started an independent contracting career in epidemiology/bio-statistical programming and analysis.
