Frontier Airlines Begins New Nonstop Service from Denver to Palm Springs International Airport Beginning November 10

Palm Springs, California – July 21, 2017    The City of Palm Springs is pleased to announce Frontier Airlines will soon begin new seasonal nonstop service from Denver, Colorado to and from Palm Springs International Airport, beginning November 10, 2017.

The new flights will operate on an Airbus A320 and will run Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with one-way fares beginning as low as $59.

Frontier Airlines has flown to Palm Springs periodically since 2011.  “With today’s return announcement, it’s a sign the airline once again recognizes the value of the Palm Springs destination to Denver passengers”, said Mary Jo Ginther, Director of the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism.  “This is excellent news for Palm Springs tourism and for local residents interested in flying to and from the Denver market,” said Ginther, who noted that over the past several years the City has experienced great success with airlines beginning new seasonal flights to Palm Springs for visitors coming from colder climates.

“With our year-round sunshine and relaxed desert lifestyle, there is no doubt Frontier recognizes that Palm Springs is like no place else for visitors from Denver and surrounding areas looking to escape the cold and rejuvenate,” said Ginther. “We are delighted to welcome Frontier Airlines once again to Palm Springs International Airport.”
